Congratulations, Becki on completing your first year on Substack. I think I was about two months behind you. I need to check on my anniversary date. I’ve enjoyed your reflections and your honesty.
After seeing your publication’s name, I HAD to subscribe. Thank you for the shoutout! I too look forward to working through the exercises in Craft and Curren, and am a fellow Janisse Ray devotee. I look forward to seeing you here!
Your process sounds wonderful. I have read many of the books on your list. Some of my posts on Substack (thank you again for mentioning my page!) are what I would include in a memoir. I may get the book from the course you took to see if I want to go further with my life as a whole work on its own. there are many unusual things that may be of interest to others, too.
Love everything you’re doing, Becki! Keep it up!
Thank you, Jeanne!

Thank you, Cathy! And thank you for bringing together our wonderful GA Writer’s Cohort group. Our meetings always leave me hopeful and inspired!
Me, too!

Love the new name, the underlying inspiration, and the read-along! Here's my favorite quote from this post: "Peace and joy are returning to my life."
Crabgod is in the noticing! That blend of emotional state and welcoming immersion in our physical surroundings is the thrust of my writings as well.
I also would like to go back and work through the writing prompts in Craft and Current.
Thanks for sharing and I'm excited for more posts from Mystic Southern Naturalist!
